MY APPROACH

Turning Wounds Into Wisdom

I have many years of experience working therapeutically with clients and now I have added a whole training of Body Pyschotherapy to that where .I am working towards a major accreditation with the UKCP.  This is a profound commitment involving years of in depth study and practice.  My approach includes working with the body and mind, which I have experienced to be the most robust and effective path towards healing.  These experiences have given me a deep understanding of trauma and the profound effect in can have on every aspect of our lives and what is truly needed to heal from it.

MY APPROACH

From Movement to Holistic Healing

I am an experienced yoga practitioner and have been seeing clients regularly for over 14 years. I have a BA in Contemporary dance and I have written my dissertation about patterns in movement and emotional expression through body language.  As a Relational Body Pyschotherapist - I am passionate about how these experiences and healing practices can integrate and offer valuable and powerful therapeutic experiences for my clients.

I have a deep understanding of the complexities of modern Western life, where material abundance can often mask a sense of inner emptiness.  In this current living environment, we have become much more disconnected than ever from  of our most basic resources and impulses within ourselves.

Now more than ever we need rituals and practices that allow us to come home to ourselves and find some peace.  Through Biodynamic healing it is possible to reconnect with these fundamental basic instincts and feelings within yourself, supporting you to regain trust and find confidence and guidance in these anxiety provoking and polarising times we are living in.
